Ukrep se nanaša na uvajanje sistema upravljanja z energijo t.i. vgradnjo podprtega sistema za upravljanje z energijo, uvedbo standarda SIST EN 16001 oziroma druge napredne načine upravljanja z energijo (npr. ciljno spremljanje rabe energije - CSRE), ki predstavljajo pomembno orodje za povečanje učinkovitosti rabe energije.
